Madbot Records has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian horror comedy Dark Match. The album features the film’s original score composed by Michelle Osis (Don’t Move, Abandoned, Billy the Kid, Bloodthirsty), David Arcus (True Fiction, Knuckleball, Great Great Great) and Terry Benn (Carved). Dark Match is written and directed by Lowell Dean and stars Ayisha Issa, Sara Canning, Jonathan Cherry, Michael Eklund, Chris Jericho and Steven Ogg. The movie centers on small-time wrestling company that accepts a well-paying gig in a backwoods town, only to learn that the community is run by a mysterious cult leader with devious plans for their match. The horror feature, which premiered at last year’s Fantasia International Film Festival, was released in select Canadian theaters this past January while also premiering on Shudder at the same time and will be coming out on DVD on August 12.
