Back Lot Music will release a new soundtrack album for Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic Jaws starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, Murray Hamilton and Lorraine Gary. The album, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 50th anniversary, features the newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to a first track (The First Victim) below. Mondo will release a vinyl edition. A new 50th Anniversary Edition of the movie will be released on Tuesday, June 17 on 4K Ultra HD.
