Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Hotel Mumbai, Lion, Adrift, Patrick Melrose, The Amateur, The Old Guard, One Life) has recently been recording his score for the upcoming Netflix original film A House of Dynamite. The movie is directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Point Break) and stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Anthony Ramos, Tracy Letts, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee, Moses Ingram and Jason Clarke. The political thriller takes place after a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States and centers on the a race that begins to determine who is responsible and how to respond. Noah Oppenheim (Jackie, Zero Day) wrote the screenplay. Bigelow & Oppenheim are also producing the project with Greg Shapiro (The Immigrant, Serenity). A House of Dynamite will premiere on October 24 on Netflix and be released in select theaters earlier in the month.
