Princes Production has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Ange. The album features the film’s original music written by director Tony Gatlif, singer/songwriter and lead actor Arthur H, as well as Delphine Mantoulet (Korkoro, Geronimo, Indignados), among other artists. Ange is co-written and directed by Gatlif and also stars Suzanne Aubert, Maria de Medeiros, Mathieu Amalric and Christine Citt. The movie tells the story of a 60-year old-musician who decides to track down and reconnect with an old friend and – together with he daughter of his former lover who joins him on his journey – rediscovers the path to joy. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in French theaters next Wednesday, June 25.
