Matthew Margeson (Kingsman, Rocketman, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Pam & Tommy, Eddie the Eagle, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile) is the composer of the upcoming Disney Jr. original animated series Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. The show stars Mason Blomberg as Iron Man, Kapri Ladd as Ironheart, Aidyn Ahn as Iron Hulk, Tony Hale as Ultron, Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man and Vanessa Bayer as Swarm. The Disney Branded Television production follows the adventures of the Iron Friends (Tony Stark, Riri Williams & Amadeus Cho) who each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength as they work together to solve problems and protect their city. Sean Coyle and Harrison Wilcox (Spidey and His Amazing Friends) are producing the project. As previously reported, Mark Hoppus has contributed the show’s theme song, which has been released released as a digital single today. A full soundtrack album will be coming out on August 15. Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends will premiere on August 11 on Disney Jr. and on the Disney Channel and will also be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.
Margeson has previously scored Disney Jr.’s Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, as well as Young Jedi Adventures, which will return for a third season later this year.
